Setting the bar high.

A sunny day and a cooler full of ice cream? That’s got our name written all over it – literally. Allison and Nicki, hard-working Klondike Promotions account reps, spent the afternoon delivering Klondike Bars to the staff at sixteen client offices throughout Anchorage today.

Will YOUR office be next? We’ll be heading out again next Friday with another round of deliveries and to say thanks for working with us. Send a note if you want us to stop by!

Artboard 9.pngSummer means FUN – and if you’re in marketing or human resources, now is your time to shine. We’re talking about preparing your company for the high-visibility outdoor events of summer! We’ve outlined some ways to make a lasting impression, and pump up the fun, too. All you need is a little creativity and, of course, promotional items:

Every summer weekend in Alaska, outdoor events attract hundreds of locals and visitors. Music festivals and fairs draw huge crowds; race expos deliver great visibility and benefit a good cause. Each event is an opportunity to increase your company’s profile and build goodwill. In the healthy atmosphere of fun and celebration at these events, promotional items are incredibly exciting to receive, and for good reason. To most attendees, the event is a way to connect to an area of passion, or a cause they believe in, be it local music or health awareness. A promotional gift is received in the best possible light, and your business benefits from a uniquely positive association. Scroll down to see a list of summer events and race expos throughout the state.

Businesses of all sizes can demonstrate a commitment to their staff and build morale through a company picnic or corporate outing. It’s more than just a barbeque – it’s a meaningful gesture of appreciation to employees and their families. In turn, you inspire gratitude, promote team work and encourage employee loyalty. Make your company’s celebration memorable: give it a theme, encourage family to join the fun, create games or competitions, and give your staff members a gift to remind them of the special day. Promotional products increase excitement and engagement at company picnics and barbeques, and reinforce your brand to your most valuable supporters

Promoting health and fitness in the workplace does more than lower healthcare costs. By encouraging healthy habits, workplace wellness programs promote a happier, healthier, less-absent, and more productive workforce. These programs don’t require a huge budget, but they do require your commitment to promote them, and to offer the right incentives. A wellness newsletter that mentions employees and tracks their success costs next to nothing. Gifts and incentives to keep employees focused on the goal should be high-priority for any wellness program. For example, employees can get points for participating in lunchtime walks to earn pedometers, water bottles or healthy lunch totes. If smoking cessation is a goal, offer literature from your insurance provider and ways to find support groups; consider a milestone gift like a custom briefcase as a reward for making such a positive change.

Summer is construction and roadwork season in Alaska. Safety items like ear and eye protection, along with bright colored high-visibility gear are essential. Proper hydration can also be a safety issue in the warmer months as well, and you may need to remind your crew to stay safe. Gear up your team with a fresh set of reflective wear, ear protection and a water bottle, all branded with your company logo. Logo’d safety gear has a higher motivational value than non-branded gear, and is more likely to be used consistently and correctly.

Klondike Promotions is offering a fun promotion to help you gear up for your events and programs this season:
